If you want a shortcut to shut down the computer double click, right click the mouse anywhere on the desktop and select new shortcut in your command line type:
shutdown.exe-s-t 8
Then type a name for the shortcut and go. You can choose an icon for the shortcut, right clicking the mouse and click properties, then you click on the Change Icon button, choose the one you want and go.
You can also choose the time you want to turn off your computer, changing the 8 by another number, say 5
